The City of Caseville has released an update on the results and recommendations of an EPA engineering study conducted to evaluate the cause of seasonal discolored water. The update outlines short-term treatment efforts planned for summer 2026, long-term infrastructure improvements, and additional information from the MDHHS investigation.
Spring is on the way, and the Village is preparing with leaf pickup April 13–17, brush pickup April 23, and a volunteer park cleanup on April 11. Residents are also invited to participate in this year’s Memorial Day Service by submitting names of local veterans to be honored. Click to read more.

Until Emterra’s yard waste service resumes on April 1, please remember winter reminders, including keeping trash and portable basketball hoops out of the street for snow removal, and no overnight street parking between 2 am and 6 am to avoid tickets. Utility bills can be paid online by credit card or ACH through the Village website using the “Pay Your Bill” link, and please note the February billing cycle covered 72 days due to weather and illness. The Pigeon Community Food Pantry is open on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month from 10 AM to 4 PM at the Pigeon First United Methodist Church (7102 East Michigan Avenue).
