The Village of Pigeon offers trash & recycling through Emterra Environmental.
Emterra picks up trash and recycling weekly on Wednesdays. If a Holiday falls before Wednesday then service will be moved to Thursday. Holidays are New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day and Christmas Day. Emterra has requested that if a resident has a large item for pickup (example: couch, chair, mattress....) that they contact Emterra prior to pickup at 989-658-2594. If you are in need of a recycling bin please contact the village hall.

Important Update from Emterra Environmental
Emterra is asking that for the safety of the sanitation workers, all trash must be placed in tied bags starting immediately.
Tied bags can still be placed in barrels, but it has to be in tied bags. All trash not in bags will not be picked up. Doing this small part, will help keep everyone safe. Emterra will continue trash pickup every Wednesday.
