August Newsletter 2021

Dear Residents,

Another great Pigeon Farmers Summerfest is in the books as a huge success. A big Thank You to the Festival Committee and all the volunteers that helped to make it a reality. There were great crowds at the park all weekend long to enjoy the Food Trucks, great stage entertainment, and all the fun activities. Fireworks on Saturday night were outstanding, as well as the Car and Tractor shows uptown on Sunday.

Sidewalk work will begin in 3 weeks in town, as well as completion of our street re-lighting project. Street projects for next year under consideration are North Frank Street and Berne Street. More details to follow on those street projects.

We are also plan over the winter working on new street signs for all streets, as most are faded badly. Ceremonies were held recently re-naming streets in Pigeon, namely North Sanford Street to "Eichler Street" at the corner of the post office, and School Street was renamed to "Dwight Gascho Drive" by the band shell and recreation park.

Stop by and try out our new Pickle Ball Courts located at the recreation park, where equipment is available to use free of charge.

Enjoy the rest of your summer.

Sincerely,
Michael LePage
Village President
