June Newsletter 2021

Dear Residents,

With Memorial Day Weekend upon us, summer is quickly approaching. This summer no major street project is scheduled. Over the past 18 years, several major street infrastructure projects have been accomplished. It is the intention of the Village Council to continue to replace old infrastructure every other year. The East Michigan/South Frank Street project was completed over a 2 year period due to weather issues. We appreciate the great support of Winsor Township to help improve our community infrastructure.

On behalf of the Pigeon Village Council, we would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to the Eichler family for 31 dedicated years at Main Street Cafe. It has been a community staple for the Village of Pigeon and will be dearly missed.

This year the Band Shell celebrates 30 years of great summer concerts. Many thanks to the Band Shell Committee for your years of dedication.

Farmers Summerfest is in full gear planning for our annual festival. Look for our Pickleball Courts at the recreation park to be up and running soon. A great sport for all ages.

Have a great summer!

Sincerely,
Michael LePage
Village President
