December Newsletter 2021
Dear Residents,
We had a quick little Winter preview this past weekend whether we are ready for it or not! Hard to believe that 2021 is almost in the books. We have accomplished a lot this year in the Village as we continue to work on infrastructure upgrades and overall maintenance projects.
We would like to welcome 3 new businesses to town in the past few weeks: Main Street Family Restaurant, Emma's Coffee House, and Fae Laume Photography, which are open for business. We thank you for your investment in Pigeon. Please shop locally whenever you can and support all the businesses in Pigeon.
The Village has updated our fleet and purchased a single axle plow truck (used but new to us) with 35,000 miles on it from the City of New Baltimore, this addition will help the readiness of our fleet winter. Our new Village Police Vehicle is still waiting for inside police equipment to be delivered and installed. The supply chain shortages have affected the delivery of the needed equipment but we are anticipating it being ready soon.
The Village Ice Rink will be set up again on the tennis court at the recreation park in the coming weeks. Open skating will be available at no charge every day and night. Best wishes for a safe and healthy Holiday Season, from your Village Council and Village Staff.
Happy New Year 2022!
Sincerely,
Michael LePage
Village President

Snow Removal
To make the job of snow removal, go as smoothly as possible, please do not put your trash in the street and if possible, please wait to set your trash out until after the plows have passed. If you have a portable basketball hoop out by the street, please move it back so the plows do not hit them.
Police Parking Reminder
No parking on village streets between 2am and 6am. Violators will be ticketed.
