We hope you had a great summer, fall is here!

Work has begun on E. Michigan Ave. & S. Frank St. We hope to have it finished by the end of October weather permitting. With any infrastructure project, it sometimes requires removing trees that have been there for a long time but have become hollow or even disruptive with roots to the infrastructure system. We always try to remove as few as possible. It is also great, to know, that this infrastructure project is being funded totally with funds on hand and adding no long term debt to the Village.

The leaf machine is ready to go and will be in operation as soon as leaves begin to fall. Watch for it on your street.

The village auditors, Nietzke & Faupel, recently reported that our village is in a strong financial position, which is always good to hear.
